2022 Recipient - Ruper Family - Austin, Halle and Lilyana. She was born in 2021 and diagnosed with a rare condition where her skull essentially fused too early and posed a problem with her rapidly growing brain. If not corrected it could cause developmental delays that would stick with her for a lifetime. Since she is not even a year old, the Children’s Hospital Team has delayed the surgery until February of 2022, when her body will grow strong enough to handle the stress of surgery as well as the anestitisa. Through all the efforts of the Lions, the Ruper family was given a check for $22,000 and Lilyana continues to grow and develop into a smiley happy girl!
